  • Non-stop roller coasters of emotion in which 80% of the time you’re just feeling a lot of love and appreciation for everyone in these books.
  • Action that literally has you on the edge of your seat the entire damn book.
  • The cutest romances between characters straight and gay. Seriously. Their interactions will make you melt (but only after they’ve frustrated the hell outta you). 
  • The plot twists that are so knotted and tangled that you can hardly imagine it will ever come undone and when it does, it is a thing of beauty.
  • Magic and curses.
  • Families that are made through love and not necessarily by blood.
  • Men with feelings.
  • More bad ass women than you can shake a stick at who constantly save the day.
  • Froi. Because everybody loves Froi. In fact, all of Skuldenore wants Froi to be their child even though he’s practically an adult. Froi is flawless and he will forever be a baby in the eyes of everyone and nobody wants to let him go. Especially all the nobility and guards in Lumatere, as well as all his blood relations.
  • Perri the Savage. I will never get enough of Perri.
